Dear School Site Council Member:
Congratulations and thank you for supporting our Los Angeles Unified students and schools by becoming a member of the School Site Council (SSC)! You are an important part of developing the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), outlining academic goals for all students. We would like to invite you to join this year's ELAC and SSC Member Training, offered with both virtual and in-person options. Employees who are elected SSC members are welcome to attend any of the sessions; however, compensation will be offered at training rate for attendance at only one session, for the time listed below.
In virtual sessions, you will gain general information to help you with your responsibilities as a member. The in-person sessions will allow you to collaborate with others as you review your role and responsibilities. It is preferred that members attend the session in their Region; however, all sessions are available for any member.
Refreshments will be provided at the in-person sessions, and childcare services will be provided for school-aged children.
